Active Surveillance

How this treatment impacted my life the most

I am slightly anxious that by choosing active monitoring there is a distinct possibility that the cancer will start to spread. Staff monitoring me do very little other than rely on 6 monthly PSA readings. My last biopsy also did some damage and I now require pills to enable me to have an erection.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

Why did I give this answer?

I dare say I still have the option to request a different treatment although heaven knows how long it might take to get it!
