Tips and advice for any mental and emotional side effects of treatment

I suffered weight gain and depression (for the first time in my life) while taking medication to reduce the size of my prostate and improve my urinary symptoms, and stopped taking it after discussing this with my consultant. The depression has gone and till now it has not led to an increase in the size of my prostate. Fasting diet has helped me reduce my weight by 25kg, still 5kg more to go.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Sex had always been an important part of my relationship with my wife, since diagnosis it has severly impacted on this and we have not been intimate for 3 years

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I am unaware of any alternative
