Low Dose Rate Brachytherapy

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The biggest impact is an emotional one combined with lower libido.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I still have some sort of prostate, the amount of ejaculated sperm is significantly lower but it is still there. I was also active the entire time after the seeds went in. Not one painkiller was needed and the side -effects were more or less similar to post-biopsy. The urinary catheter was used only for the night after the procedure. No issues with urine, bowel incontinence or ED. After 6 months my PSA went down to 0.84. I am on 6 monthly active surveillance and I hope for the best.
