Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

I had nerve sparing on the left side, so still get an erection, I also have dry orgasms now which are strange for a start but you soon get used to them and they are far less messy !

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Yes it’s made me happy they found it otherwise I wouldn’t be here now . So gotta be positive.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I’d be dead if I didnt

Watchful Waiting

How this treatment impacted my life the most

I’m glad the watchful waiting didn’t last long as my cancer spread in a matter of months and had to have prostate removed, so be careful when deciding what treatment you have !

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

No

Why did I give this answer?

Because I would’ve gone straight for the prostectomy instead of any watchful waiting
