Hormone Therapy (injections)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

My main concern is the sleeping problems caused by hot flashes, which have been partly controlled with a prescription of Provera 10mg daily, although this only reduces the intensity of flashes, not their frequency. The loss of interest in sex is not a problem for me as I now have the same libido as my post-menopausal wife!

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Not sure

If I had gone for radical prostatectomy, would I be now be free of fatigue?

Radiotherapy

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

The hot flushes were around before starting radiotherapy and down to the goserelin implant. My consultant believes the ongoing fatigue is probably also down to the reduced testosterone since I finished radio 6 weeks ago now, but the lack of energy was not an issue before I started radio.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?
