Radiotherapy

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Slight hair growth

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Being retired it hasn't really made much difference. Travel insurance is more expensive which is annoying

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I was happy with the treatment and was treated very well. It took some getting used to at first as regards empty bowel and full bladder but soon got into the swing of it after a few days. The last week of my four weeks treatment was the hardest as my bowel was getting sore inside due to the radio therapy. The trick is to keep the poo soft by drinking plenty of fluids so it can pass easily. I drank and still drink Cranberry squash to keep hydrated. I was fine after about a week later.
