Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Surgery had an impact mostly the following 4 months. I was making sure to avoid over doing physical activities. I was making sure to focus on recovery and continence so I can get back to the highest quality of life. It took me 4 weeks for full continence and 4 months for physical strength. So I would say that the impact now is rather positive, thinking there are many chances the cancer will not come back and it is an old story.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Prostatectomy for cancer contained in the prostate was my choice because it gives a chance to get rid of the cancer but also of future issues that could come with the prostate at an older age.
