Active Surveillance

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Slight anxiety before receiving the result of the PSA test . Unless I have missed something this survey does not give the opportunity to comment on other related tests ,such as the two types of biopsy ,which in fact caused more problem than anything else for me . I also had an MRI and bone scan . Also ,I have a much enlarged prostate which I am told contributes to my high PSA.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

The active surveillance hardly impacts on my life whereas I was told by the oncologist that radiotherapy and chemotherapy could have an impact .The next step for me would be to move onto hormone therapy once my PSA reading doubles in less than a year .
