Fortunately it hasn't really affected me I think I'm more aware that I wear pads but it hasn't really affective me

Yes

I'm alive and slowly getting back to full strength running doing ultras and doing my first tough mudder so all good!

I think the tip would be acceptance, these things are going to happen unfortunately so it just adjusting your mindset and be honest with people around you!

Sleeping in separate beds at home!
