Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

You must be prepared that sometimes, whilst engaging in sex you can get a urine discharge, which isn't great but doesn't happen often

How this treatment impacted my life the most

I felt I'd let my wife down, i know it sounds stupid now but i did, didn't feel i could love her liked i used to, but having a caring wife, she soon put this to bed

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Both my brothers had prostate cancer, both had radical prosectomy, and when they had them removed, they both had more advanced cancer than the doctors thought they had, so i was told mine was very early stages and it would be better to be monitered, but felt that it was cancer and it needed to be removed, which i did and like my brothers it went from 3+3 T1c to 3+4T2c, which the surgeon said was a wise decision, so no question for me
