Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

4 months in. Complete collapse of sex life, unsure what this means to my marriage going forwards. Uncertainty as to what the future holds

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

When diagnosed, the cancer was contained (Gleason 7) and out of all the treatment options RARP seemed to offer me the best chance of a long term resolution, with further options if it occurred again. Post op biopsy showed revised Gleason score of 9, so still feel it was a good decision.
