I was advised by my radiographist to purchase a penis pump. I have obtained both the hand operated and battery operated types. I discussed their use with my partner and I/we are practicing with them to try and improve my erections.
My emotional episodes last about 15 minutes. I let myself express emotion as I know I will feel better afterwards. I have also arranged some counselling to support me through this period .
The radiotherapy was easier to deal with than I expected. The hormone treatment has posed more challenges than I want.
