Sip drinks slowly and wear pads all the time, the physio for the pelvic floor helps but it is frustrating when a simple cough causes leaking.

Take it easy on yourself do not overdo anything the rest is needed to allow yourself to heal. If you do too much on any one day it takes two days to get over the reaction.

Communication is key with friends and family. I found it helpful to keep a diary and share details to help you help yourself. Hiding feelings is not good as it causes build up of emotions and tensions.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Post removal of the catheter the urine leaking and having to wear pads.
