My cancer diagnosis came at a difficult time in my family so there were other problems on my mind. But overall I was just very pleased that the operation was successful and that the only side effect was a bit of difficulty with errections to start with.
Why did I give this answer?
I was very lucky that the cancer was caught early due to a rather random PSA test which I had along with other blood tests. So it was a shock to learn that I was really in danger after the biopsy. The biopsy was nasty, but the operation was fine and I made a quick recovery. 6 years later my PSA level is still minimal. So I've got a lot to be grateful for!
