Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

Tips and advice for any mental and emotional side effects of treatment

Get help for depression, do not try to go it alone, there is no shame in asking for help. Its understandable to feel emotional.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The actual operation is worrying but to be honest, I didn't feel pain, only bloated after surgery due to the gas used to gently inflate my tummy. The most important thing is a good partner, or friend, somebody to talk too

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Like I said, the operation worried me, but you are out the next day. Make sure you have a good back up friend or family member
