Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Make sure that your treatment and possible side effects are shared with your family. This will then not be a shock to any children /grandchildren. They can also support you.

Tips and advice for any mental and emotional side effects of treatment

I am thankful that I had support from my immediate family and church.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

1. The length of the treatment and having to attend appointments each day. 2. General fatigue was the main cause of having to cease playing in my local brass band (Something I had done for 60 years).

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I count myself fortunate that my prostate cancer was discovered as I did not have any symptoms. When discovered therefore, the cancer hadn't spread outside the prostate. My radiotherapy was given during the COVID restrictions and still went ahead. Also, the staff at the centre I attended, were first class.
