Hormone Therapy (injections)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Pain has made life very difficult with many once routine tasks proving almost impossible. The "intermittent" nature of the treatment has resulted in an element of uncertainty which has greatly affected confidence. Lack of communication from oncologists has resulted in periods of extreme frustration and often anger - not my "normal" sort of attitude!!!

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

The options of prostatectomy and radiotherapy have been ruled out as too dangerous due to my severe cardiac disease, so the hormone therapy is the pnly way to keep the cancer under some sort of control. I can deal with the side effects - I can not cope with the uncertainties of a watch & wait scenario.
