Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

I think with having treatment for prostrate cancer most people end up getting some type of side-effects. It is obviously how you cope with it, but with the right person within the NHS, you feel happy to discuss your issue, there is various treatment/medication that will help. Sometimes it will help -but raise another issue at same time!

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Of the various visits I did to the Freeman Hospital in the early days of 2023, I did find it all very embarrassing (probably depends on what type of person you are!) I must say the NHS staff were very friendly & professional, in time I felt more confident and really just did what I was told. The priority was to try and get rid of the cancer

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

When I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, I was given at least 3-4 options to choose from. then speaking to friends or looking on the Internet there's even more options - gave me a headache! But the procedure I went for was quite brief and possibly given me the least side effects, although yes I have some. But they are helping of any issues I have.
