Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Try and surround yourself with positive and supportive friends.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

I was a keen and fit triathlete who was very aware and conscious of strength and fitness. To see my strength leak away was frustrating. My training partners were hugely supportive and kept me going.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

So far the results have been positive and side effects were manageable and hopefully oy temporary

Radiotherapy

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The daily routine of hospital visits and preparing for the radiotherapy changed the way I ran my life for the month. Also diet and taste changed which I had to adapt to.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

It was only month long and had only temporary side effects. I didn't have surgery which it appears may have had more serious side effects.
