Radical Prostatectomy (Surgery)

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Initially, the problem was re-establishing continence, which was profoundly upsetting, while pads were necessary. The secondary problem was re-establishing a routine for sexual relations with my wife, using medication and pump.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I was offered radiotherapy as an alternative. However, I was warned that surgery, should the cancer recur, would be difficult, if not impossible, after radiotherapy.
