Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment
My sexual activity had ceased prior to starting the treatment.
How this treatment impacted my life the most
It was mainly the hot sweats, one of those ‘Martini’ moments…. Anytime, anyplace, anywhere!’😁. I’d carry a battery operated fan around to use whenever it came on. I didn’t find it alarming, painful or distressing. My wife and I would joke about it, knowing I was experiencing what a lot of women go through. We are positive people!
If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?
Yes

How this treatment impacted my life the most
The biggest factors for me was feel bloated, indigestion, burping and feeling so very tired after day 3 of my 3 weekly cycle. They told me it was due to steroid infusion prior to the chemo. I went for about 5 days not sleeping at night but from about 7am to 3pm. Also, the injections I gave myself for 7 days (which initially I was scared to do, but fellas it’s a piece of cake and I don’t feel a thing!) deal with bone marrow, and I got lower back pain, like a pulsing pain which was quite painful but treatable with paracetamol.
