Radiotherapy

Tips and advice for any sexual side effects of treatment

Yes I have since been asked by a brilliant nurse about sexual function and have been to see a supplier this year. I feel that this should have been made clearer during treatment rather than 9 months after Radiotherapy

How this treatment impacted my life the most

The hormone tablets made me quite emotional and realise what a rotten time women must have. During the 20 does of treatment of Radiotherapy this was really positive and the NHS staff brilliant. Keeping a positive attitude and producing videos about my experience and helping other men and women is now my main effort. I have a relativly high profile in my community and am ex-Armed Forces who love to portray our macho image BUT we men do not talk, so I am happy to help in any way.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

I found it impossible to decide on Radiotherapy or surgery to remove prostate, but still working and running 2 companies I wanted to and could go for Radiotherapy.
