Tips and advice for any physical side effects of treatment

Keep in regular contact with your consultant and their team for any advice, dont wait or feel emabrassed to mention anything. It is unlikely anything will surpise them, but more important they will be able to provide answers, give clear directions, guidance and support or medication to assist you through any difficult patches.

How this treatment impacted my life the most

Honestly I am very pleased that I got really good advice, read up on the good and bad experiences - books, online forums and support sites. Having this information, the love and support from my family I needed it has been an experience where I knew it was the reight decison to take action rather than to wait. Brachytheraphy for me was the right decison, the procedure happened and I took some time out to reflect and ease back into things.

If I had to do it all over again, would I choose the same treatment?

Yes

Why did I give this answer?

Because I am certain I had the best of guidance, care and support pre and post procedure I would have to say yes. With hindsight the biopsy perfomed after PSA and MRI results was more painful than brachytheraphy or any other part of my treatment.
